The surreal and the quirky in art

Visuality is dominant in our world. It is often used to control, demand and define...more rarely to question. Question-type images tell us there are things we don't know, something outside the box, something deeper. It is not concerned with a linear progress or reality so much as what things mean and what they might mean.
There is interplay between themes and their significance. What's more important, surreal artworks can be completely untutored, but just seen as absurd, and recognised by as such by anyone.
